What we style
- Dining tables — long garland runners, centrepieces, candles and place details for Christmas lunch or dinner.
- Mantels and consoles — layered garlands with velvet ribbon, lanterns, framed pieces and small trees.
- Wreaths above fireplaces, on mirrors, doors and walls.
- Tabletop trees and arrangements for side tables, reception desks and kitchen islands.
Details that make the difference
Good table and mantel styling is about proportion and texture: a garland long enough to drape past the edges, greenery at different depths, and a mix of matte and gloss finishes. We keep centrepieces low enough for guests to see each other across the table, and use flameless candles wherever real flames would be close to greenery or children.
One palette through the home
Most clients pair table and mantel styling with a tree or entrance. Using one palette — Velvet Bordeaux, Champagne Gold or your own colours — makes the whole home feel considered rather than decorated piece by piece.
Getting the proportions right
A few simple rules make table and mantel styling look effortless:
- Table runners look best when the garland runs almost the full length of the table, leaving space at each end for serving dishes.
- Centrepieces should stay below eye level when seated — roughly 30 cm or lower — so conversation flows across the table.
- Mantel garlands can drape past the ends by 15–30 cm on each side for a generous, finished look.
- Wreaths above a fireplace or console usually look right at around half to two-thirds of the width of the piece below.
